Wife wanted a golf cart with a bed for yard work, I wanted something a little better. Looked at Kawasaki Mules and Polaris Rangers as well. Talked her into a little more money for a dual purpose buggy. The 3 year warranty was a big selling point (only 6 months for Polaris). Dump bed, 4x4 with diff lock, will run 50mph if you want to, 10” travel piggy back Fox shocks, and power steering makes it a pretty capable little yard rig. Now we can trail ride together if she wants to drive herself.

It's cool how capable these things are. I had no idea they had 10" travel shocks!

This is a utility SxS, 10” is nothing really, but a lot more than the 3” of travel on the Kawasaki Mule SX we were looking at. Want your mind blown? Check out the new Polaris Pro R 4. It has 29” of travel in the rear and a fire breathing 2.0L four cylinder. I spent a weekend in one last Sept in the Arizona desert. Insane machines, with a price tag to match.

I am going to call you homeboy and homeboy's wife from now on 🤣

Next purchase going to be a set of whips or the sound system?

No whips, prob just a potable speaker. It’s Meredith’s so whatever she wants. It’s not a racer but she could run some light trails while we do dumb shit 😂. I’m not giving up my Jeep at all. Don’t call me homeboy, that guy was a trip 😂.

I literally use my Ranger everyday on my farm for something, I used to have a Samurai that I used as a farm chore vehicle. While it was perfect in a lot of situations the Ranger outshines it in so many other ways we don't see how we ever got by without it. It is a 2013 model, the first year they put the engine under the bed.

I’d take an old RANGER over a new one. The 6 month warranty thing just kills me for what they cost for even a small rig. So far this Kawi is pretty bad ass.

I could see us taking it out after dark for an "easy ride" and 6 beers, 3 fireballs, and a few laughs later barely making it back to camp before the gate is locked. Just sayin.

Good new is comp and collision insurance was only $380 a year and covers off-road and on road damages. We won’t tell them about the fireball 😂.

Meridith said no, but I have have a spare key 😂.

So the wife “bought me” put a down payment on a Kawasaki KRX 1000 4 seater for my birthday last weekend. Now we have two. It was delivered before I got home Friday. By 3:00am Friday night a buddy and me had it on its lid at 3:00am in a creek bed with 18 miles on the clock. Absolutely no alcohol involved 😒. Call me Home Boy @gasiorv 😆. It’s a fun machine.

I bought the OEM harnesses for it so she can ride trails and “maybe” wear her belts. Wanna ride passenger with me @gasiorv? We can do a night ride when the lady folks go to bed

What light whips should I order?

Save your money on the whips.

And order up some talent.

Just my .02 😅

Those KRX's are great machines 😎

You have a link for talent? Amazon or EBay would be great.

I totally forget to remember that independent suspension does not work the same as live axle in the creek. Light whips could have helped with visibility 😆. Seriously though, the roll was at .05mph. The experience and the laughter was worth the $15 I spent on a push clip kit to reattach the taillight. Priceless memories 😆.

I am not going to make it to SMORR for 4th of July this year, my son graduated from college and got his first job down in Florida and I will be moving him down that weekend. I am happy that he got a job and is moving on to the next stage but that is going to be a tough weekend for Tonya with her first born moving 16 hrs away (and even me). So I will be looking for some fun time towards end of July if you can get away for some homeboy shenanigans.

Been looking at Yamaha R Max machines, Trail systems are so much more plentiful than full size trails. Those Kawi's are a great machines from what I understand.
