New gear pattern

Installing new Motive Gear 4.56 in rear Dana 44 . Set pinion depth to 0 with a gauge , backlash at .007-.008. I am thinking it's pretty close. Any pros want to take a look?

I would run that pattern.

I went .005 either way on pinion depth and I ended up coming back to this. The backlash was very consistent at this pinion depth also. It varied from .005 to .010 when the pinion depth was at other settings. This led me to believe the current depth must be close to where they were lapped in at the factory.

The pattern itself looks great but it looks like your coast side is shallow.
