Make sure to make those fender flares black again! That alone will transform the look.

Looks good though, and welcome to the forum!

Looking forward to seeing what you do to it next.

Slowly but surely i be doin things to it first o need to fix some body issues and get a top lol

The gril and front of the hood... the guy i bought it from was pulling the dents out... oh and the throwout bearing is making a racket

Considering some of the other rust piles and junk heaps i looked at this was the best one no rust on the frame or the tub anywhere and runs and drives like a top already put 175 miles on it lol

I'd say that's a good deal. Rust is the biggest issue with these vehicles, so 6k for a rust free TJ sounds like a fair price indeed!

Oh yeah i have a buddy with a 97 that the lower control arm ripped from the frame and were currently puttin a new frame under it and i kinda had an idea of what to avoid... and i knew i DIDNT want a 2.5

I've seen that happen before with the control arm ripping off the frame from so much rust. At that point it's better to just buy a rust free frame, but if you're going that far you may as well just buy a new TJ!

Good call on the 2.5. I had one once and it was a complete dog.

Welcome, another guy from NC here as well. Good lucking Jeep and it looks like it's got a few friends. Maybe I'll see you on the trail sometime. I'll likely be the guy stuck or upside down. :)

Down in Charlotte. 2000 4.0 5 speed. The jeep is in the shop this week. Spoke to a guy there picking up some shocks that was also headed to Harlen. Sounds fun.

Taking mine up to Linville Gorge next weekend. Not much wheeling up there, but meeting a bunch of buddies for a little winter backpacking.

Welcome to the site. Nice looking rig, and it looks good among the others in the yard too!
