Yep, patience always pays off. You end up getting a much nicer TJ than you would if you're in a hurry.

lol just want to do some basic preventative maintenance and then 31s maybe 33s with a suspension lift, also it was from Maryland

Yes the frame prob an 8 out of 10, little surface rust at the skid plate area but that’s it’s I was meticulously looking for a clean frame

Just drive it for awhile before you jump off into any modifications. For example, bigger tires will necessitate a lift & probably gear changes. If you change gears you might as well install limited slips or lockers while the work is being done. It’s one thing after another when you go down these rabbit holes, but it sure is fun.

I totally agree with you on this, I really want to enjoy what the tj is stock before doing any mods. Just driving around stock is just such an awesome feeling so raw and fun. We’ll see down the road what I’ll end up doing, & it’s going to be interesting going off-road with the TJ compared to the JL.

I’ll tell you what I’m going to do that a lot of people might think I’m nuts for, I hate body color matched fender flares gonna swap them out for unpainted black ones
