Hello everyone,
after owning this TJ since 2015 and building it more or less to my wanted specs it never really got the use it deserved.
Now i want to give it some final modifications and use it as intended for travel.
The biggest problem i have is that i do not have any option besides the basement garage to park the car and the height is very limited. So everything RTT related was on hold until now.
After seeing the TJ Roof-Less Rack Setup thread i came to the conclusion that i have to push the project forward again. Thanks EJD for this!
Some of the modifications so far:
- ProComp Suspension with some Lift (tbh i don´t how much.)
- Front and rear fenders, side rockers and hood trim from Poison Spyder
- Frameless Softtop
- 15" wheels with identical spare tire
- ProComp bumper and winch plate with Smittybilt winch
Some more stuff i don´t have in mind currently
The engine was blown when i bought the ride. So i rebuilt it from a 90s block and just used the head of the 03´s original engine. All new bearings ofc.
Was a bit complicated because the crankshaft main bearing to the transfer case did not really fit with this mashup. Also the whole belt drive is custom because nothing really matched... But it runs fine since then.
So far to the TJ.
Hope to get some ideas and help the community where i can.
