I recently replaced control arms on my lil 01 stocker and happened to take the shocks off at the lower mount. I was surprised (well, not really) to find I could completely compress the shock by hand (with some effort) and it would obediently stay out of my way! Then when it came time to re-attach it, i was able to extend it and it stayed right where I needed it while bolting it in place.

I was so impressed with this new technology, I nearly wrote to Pro Comp to congratulate their design team.

what I really think is it’s time for a set of new Rancho 5000x. 😂

I have an almost new set 3" over stock length you can have for freight cost, they came with a lift kit and I just really wanted the springs. ;) these must be the old design as they don't compress manually like the new design, they got new black boots too!
