New starter body is making contact with flywheel

Ok update on the Jeep, pulled the transmission and the entire clutch was connected inside the bell housing!!! All of the bolts for the were completely off of the flywheel!! Working on this issues as we speak.
I’m assuming the guy that help me put in the new clutch didn’t tighten the bolts. That is the only explanation for that to happen.
Update on the piece of Jeep. Fixed the clutch and bleed the slave cylinder, everything is back together. Went into 1st and reverse. Now the 4wheel drive is stuck in 4wheel drive. Fixed that and now the Jeep will not move once in any gear. So short end is, when I let off the clutch the Jeep doesn’t move. Any suggestions?
Can you shift it into low range?
Perhaps disconnect the shifter altogether and try shifting it from the lever on the transfer case

If it turns out to be the shifter causing the issues, consider replacing it with a cable shifter like the Savvy shifter.

Update on the piece of Jeep. Everything is working great!! Manually put the 4wheel drive back with a wrench and hooked the 4wheel drive connections back. Everything is great!! Thanks for all the help and advice.
