I m from Quebec ,Canada ,I own a CJ 7 for over 30 years ,it s quite modified ( dana 44 , 4:10 both lockers , tera Lo 4.0 T/case , SOA ,35 s ) and the ride is a little harsh and it seems to be higher lately lolll, It starts to get to me , my age ( 69 )
we normaly pass our winters down south west ( CA, AZ, NM,TX , UT .....) hope to get there this winter and do lots of trails
Just bought myself a 2005 LJ ( TJ unlimited ) automatic, air,cruise code 24H , it s in great condition an it s orange like my CJ , the ride is SO much better !
Love the A/C and cruise control ,combined with automatic it spoils me .....
Ok for the projects : It is totally stock with 245/75/16 tires on rubicon wheels ....I also have the originals Ravine 15 wheels
I want to lift it but not turn it into a rock crawler like my CJ , So it should be moderate lift with 33 s
I m turning to you to have good advices on my project ! What could be my best move on this ? I ll go for 33 s , I m looking mostly for a soft ride . It s my first coil spring Jeep , are all the lift kits similar , concerning the ride ......
Coilovers & long arms are not considered .....just a mild lift ,,,,,,,,
