Two weeks ago I was giving my 2.5 motor a little extra gas to clear it out. It started cutting out with a bad cylinder, and smelled a bit. I quickly pulled over, and looked at my tailpipe pushing some white smoke. I just stripped the motor to the block. I was really surprised how easy this motor is to work on. My question/problem is my head gasket looks good, and I had a small pool of antifreeze on the ground. I am hoping that a new Clearwater head is going to make this all better.... Im researching this going back together, and somebody said the rocker bolts just get 7lbs and thats it, done.

Just did a 4.0 head and it was more.

Whole section on the 2.5 here and I really recommend downloading and following the procedure in the FSM...also in the resources section.
