So my 97 TJ usually starts right up on what I call a "cold" start. Cold meaning I haven't cranked it in atleast a few hours ish. Zero issues.
But once I have cranked it like this then turn it off I most likely will have to put the gas pedal to the floor and crank. Without pushing the gas wide open it will not start. Sometimes it starts and then dies but will stay started when I try again. Short drive long drive it doesn't matter.
I put a new throttle positioning sensor in a while back but that didn't do anything.
Side note, sometimes it will die when I'm doing high rpms then push the clutch. Rpms just bottom out and it dies while driving. This does not always happen its really random. Have to give it gas sometime when coming to stop signs or turns where I'm having to shift or whatever. But like I said not always.
