First post!
Recently, my Jeep (03 4.0) has developed an issue when trying to start. I originally thought it was due to the cold weather, but now it doesn’t want to turn over unless I press the throttle pretty far down. I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC, but I’m wondering if the IAC motor itself is toast. While cleaning the IAC housing, I realized the gasket between it and the throttle body had basically disintegrated, so I made a new gasket and hoped that, along with the cleaning, would solve the issue.
If it’s not the IAC motor, I’m thinking it could be a vacuum leak somewhere. I’m fairly handy, but mostly with basic maintenance and easier tasks when it comes to engines, but I’m learning more as I go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
