Recently, my Jeep (03 4.0) has developed an issue when trying to start. I originally thought it was due to the cold weather, but now it doesn’t want to turn over unless I press the throttle pretty far down. I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC, but I’m wondering if the IAC motor itself is toast. While cleaning the IAC housing, I realized the gasket between it and the throttle body had basically disintegrated, so I made a new gasket and hoped that, along with the cleaning, would solve the issue.
If it’s not the IAC motor, I’m thinking it could be a vacuum leak somewhere. I’m fairly handy, but mostly with basic maintenance and easier tasks when it comes to engines, but I’m learning more as I go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you explain a little more clearly? Turn over usually means the engine spinning while failing to start usually means the engine spins over but doesn’t start.

It’s hard to diagnose problems over the internet but if you have a chance, you’ll have to explain it with a little more details. We’d like to help you but don’t want to chase things that aren’t the issue.

Any trouble codes?

What's your fuel pressure?

03 might not have a Schrader valve on the rail. Might need a Racetronix 5/16" to QD adapter to add a port.
