Picked up a TJ 8 weeks ago after a Land Rover Discovery build and have really been enjoying the process. 1. When I first bought it:

Started with replacing 2 inch lift with 3.5 inch lift. Went with Rubicon Express springs and tie rod ends paired with Fox 2.0 shocks. Replaced the track bars with a Rubicon Express adjustable.

That thing looked clean, nice pick up. What control arms you going with? The Currie/Savvy seem to be the ones to get. What else ya doing?

Thanks! Happy I found it. I'm still stock. That's a future project. Likely the Currie, though. As far as other projects, I've filled in more details.

Next a new stereo. New Kenwood head unit, 1600 watt amp, swapped 4.6 speakers in front with 5.25 Focals and Rears with Focal 6.5s. Pre wired for a sub but for now I like the extra space in back. I took the factory sub out of the center console and mounted the amp inside there. The sub looked like it was hit with a IAD and was clearly not functioning. Used Duramat to address potential vibration.

Also, was having low idle issues so after confirming no vacuum leak, started with putting in new IAC.

New Fox 2.0 Steering stabilizer, additional 7inch Round LEDS for front bumper and a Yukon 4.56 gear change (from factory 3.73) - that pic not shown. Added clear light covers and guards, new black headlight rings.

Now, to the interior. Tore out old carpet, added duramat througout, new BedRug carpet kit, and threw in WeatherTech front floor liners. Road noise and vibration is down from where it was! Amazing difference. Threw in a 39 tooth speedo gear to adjust for tires and re-gear. Added dual battery kit and KN air flow system. And NFab side-steps.

Just swapped out the throttle body with a 62mm. Did a sea foam treatment and rough idle is gone.

Projects on very near horizon: 1). new front drive shaft, new rear driveshaft and slip yoke eliminator. 2). New front and rear diff covers powder coated red. Will switch these out at about 500 miles from re-gear. 3). Maybe some hood vents. It gets hot in there!

Stunning! That's one damn fine looking TJ, I love it.

I might have missed it, but what kind of seat covers are those?
