Would like to have a flat and somewhat tucked skid but I have two problems. 1. I dont want to spend a ton and 2. I have an 01 that I swapped a Rubicon Tcase into.
This means I have special clearance issues. The Nth degree skid had a bump out area for the larger tcase (even on the 01 model) and their own lopro trans mount. I would probably just spend the money on this except they dont seem to make it anymore.
Has anyone used the Novak trans mount as a lopro option? Half the price of the ucf.

I would like to bolt it directly to a Barnes 2" skid

And use these

Don't think I've seen anyone use that mount. Sounds like an interesting plan. The bushings on that low pro mount are urathane, so you'll probably experience some added vibes at idle.

How did this turn out? I have the same skid and am considering this mount as well. Whoever welded in my trans crossmember didn’t have any bushing on it and it cracked the two rear bolt holes in the ax15.

I knows it's been years but if anyone else was interested it worked well. There is a little vibrations when as I feather the clutch to get moving but not at idle or when moving.
