Novak Transfer Case Cable Linkage Issues

Recently I installed the Novak T-Case Shifter Linkage into my 06 TJ Sport.

Very easy to install, shifting is so much smoother than the bulky factory linkage.

Anyways, first day out with the linkage installed - while in 4H shifter would constantly kick out of gear. That same day I ran in 4L for approx 12 hours of rock crawling and no issues of kicking out.

Could it just be the linkage needs adjusting?

It just needs adjusting. You must be on the edge of a center position adjustment causing it to jump out. What I did was to put the t-case in neutral, the lever in neutral and adjust the cable so it had equal play in both directions. Done!
