Wow, I'd actually pay that price too. For that color and that model, that's a fantastic deal.

It may be time to talk to the bank about another loan, haha!

I showed it to my wife to see if she liked it. Her exact words were that she liked my 2002 blue sport better and that I should keep the blue one. The Orange was too much for her. And since my 02 has the same wheels and half doors that I'd only be trading for the color. I tried to tell her about Dana 44 axles and ARB lockers but then she asked often would I actually need those features. And honestly I probably don't. I like overlanding through the woods more than anything. Rock climbing and deep muddling aren't my thing. I just like seeing country and hills and rivers and mountains. Darn that woman for using logic :)

Haha... I probably don't need a Rubicon model either, since I do the sort of off-roading stuff you describe. I simply like owning a Rubicon for the resale value, and the fact that the lockers and stuff are there, just incase I need them!

Chris, now Bend is local to you? Earlier you made a point that looking for a Rubicon in Bend would be too far of a drive?? [emoji848][emoji6]

It would be out of the way... For now. But if the kids were older and in school, then not so much!

I still consider everything in Oregon to be "local" though.

But that's beside the point, I'm not looking for another Rubicon :D

A second one would be fun to play with for sure, but I'm pretty happy with mine. Mine is a year newer, a third of miles and I prefer a tjr over a tljr. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell. It seems like folks here are in a spending mood. Yesterday I sold a ground up custom Harley I built back in 96. It took 5 days on Craigslist and I got my asking price.

Well, the Oregon unemployment rate is at it's all time lowest, and the economy seems to be doing well. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. But you're right, I see a lot of stuff selling pretty quickly. Hell, even our old Honda sold fast!
