I got the chance to install and play with some of these on an fj80 this weekend.ome provided some handy app specific brackets to hold the reservoirs.

Twist rings to adjust rebound and compression independantly. After firming them up quite a bit in both i was impressed bombing around on a crappy dirt road near me.

I put rebound at about 3/4 and compression at just under half after a little trial and error.

Not cheap at about 600$ each. But rebuildable and kinda cool being able to adjust with a spanner.

So i guess not all ome shocks are harsh junk! I'm sure the heavy coil spring fj they are attached to contributed to the feel. Very nice rigs for long distance offroading

Very cool. Afaik, those are pretty much top of the line for FJ80 shocks.

They’re very nice rigs, hard to beat for overlanding purposes. Probably the only non-Jee SUV I would buy for offroading.
