OME coil springs

I'm guessing the light load will be better on road and the heavy load will be better off road? Idk
How much lift are you after? What tire size are you wanting to run? Is the Jeep stock or does it have huge bumpers and winches?
Don't select a spring for it's ride. You won't be able to tell the difference. Springs set the ride height. Shocks determine the ride. The amount of lift a spring provides depends on its rate/length against the weight of the Jeep.
After market bumper and winch. OME offers the same spring in both light load and heavy load, same size.
They won't provide the same amount of lift on the same Jeep. I've been down this road with Old Man Emu.
How much lift do you want?
I was just reading the first one I pulled up on their website both light & heavy says 1.5" I'm not sure if that's the one I would choose but I don't want more then a 2 inch lift.

Do you want your Jeep level or do you want it to mirror the factory rake?

If you don’t want more than 2” of lift, I’d do the OME 2933 front with the 10mm OME spacer and 2941 rear with the 10mm rear spacer. The front spring is from the heavy and the rear from the light.

I put an OME lift on my LJ with 31" BFG KM2's and went with 2933 springs (heavy load) and another factory spring isolator stacked on top of the original in the front and 2942 springs (constant heavy load) in the rear. It sits pretty level and I'm happy with it. This setup was suggested by Dirk, at DPG Offroad, based on my front and rear bumpers, tire carrier, winch plate and winch.
That looks perfect, exactly what I'm looking for.

I just had a 2 inch heavy duty old emu lift kit installed in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I know that it lifted it way more than 2 in and I was never told by Quadratec that I needed the TC lowering kit. After talking to a r b 4x4 who sold it to Quadratec they informed me that I needed the lowering kit in order for my warranty to be good. Can you please tell me what type of experience you had with old emu?
My experiences were great. I've used several sets of OME springs over the years. Once I understood what was happening with the first set, OME coils always did what I expected them to do. That first set let me figure out my sprung weights, so I selected the next sets based on their lengths and rates as the build plan grew and developed. That education is what eventually led me to Currie 4" springs, which I think is nearly perfect.
