If there is any holiday we should celebrate, it is this one.
We really should have it every day.
The freedom, the prosperity and nice infrastructure our form of government and the hard work of those that have came before is astounding.
To own a 4 wheel drive pleasure vehicle and order parts and show off our “ mods” in our nice paved driveways and shops would be a distant dream for most of the world.
If you earn over $32,000 annually you are in the top 2 percent in the world in earnings.
Not to take away from our Canadian neighbors and the members we have here that live in far away, beautiful places- they have much as well.
The world has much beauty, people are still basically good and life gives us the chance to make it what we want.
Think of how easy it is to have so much in our time. It was not at all that way, not long ago.
No , the world is not perfect. But stop and think, it never was. We have had many pandemics long before Covid, World Wars, civil wars, natural disasters and even Brittany Spears. The last guy that claimed to be the messiah was crucified. All that said, we have overcome and always will.
Try to step back today and realize what you have. A lot of people would nearly kill to have what so much.
