Have a 90 wrangler 6 cylinder. It runs hot when driving but cools while idling. Recently replaced thermostat and clutch fan and still having same issue. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?

Sounds like a clogged or a marginal store brand radiator. Any dirt/dried mud in the radiator cooling fins?
Then look inside the radiator through the radiator cap opening after draining enough coolant to expose the top of the core. Look to see if there are any white lime/hard water deposits from using tap water showing.

I don’t believe so I can see light through the the holes I’ll check in the am
Still doing the same thing ordered a new radiator yesterday another water pump so should see after that I hope
Hopefully, that's the only radiator assured to cool as well as the engine is capable of being cooled.
