Not unless it was modified. The bolt pattern is asymmetrical and won’t allow it to be indexed wrong.
But you do need a scanner to zero the cam/crank difference, which is simply rotating the housing of the OPDA until that value is as close to zero as you can get it. The reason for this is that most of the sensors available these days aren't as precisely manufactured, so you have have to manually adjust it because it's far enough out of sync that the computer can't make up for it. If you don't have a scanner, some owners have had luck slightly moving the OPDA in one direction or that other until the problem goes away.
