Well bad news. Looks like it’s the trans solinoid according to the scanner. That entails pulling the trans to replace. Which is more than I really want to do. May just clear it and see what happens. 2k to rebuild it and if your gonna pull it may as well. Of course I’ll check all my connections first.
Totally agree with that. If you're going to pull it, may as well rebuild it (assuming it's got over 100k miles) since you'd kill two birds with one stone.
I'd try clearing the code first like you said, just to see if it comes back.

i had a similar issue showing 0700. it was a dirty connector next to the shift linkage that didn't look dirty but was. i sprayed Cramolin Red into the connector halves (small amount does wonders) and the code disappeared on it's own.
