Good evening. Looking for assistance with new issue.
Quick back store - owned Jeep 3 yrs no issues. Had differential rebuild & Regeared in Feb to 4.88s, replaced speedo gear to match regear and 35" tires. Drive 500 mile breaking. Prior owners engine swapped up to a 4.0 and automatic transmission 30RH
3 wks ago we got a P0740 took to transmission shop, they rebuild transmission. Got back last week, code returned Sunday. Took back to shop. They returned today saying that because we have 35" tires and regeared differentials that the computer is not reading correctly and causing code. Mind you code did not show tell 500miles after regear differentials.
Looking to see if anyone else has had similar issues or might have a solution. Shop told me had to just live with it, which does not set well. Being jeeps get modified all time.

Thank you.

Loose wiring harness, possibly the one for the torque converter clutch?
It would still drive, but your fuel economy would suck
