Paint Matched Headlight Bezels

Would you keep the paint matched bezels?

any reason why you can't scuff the oem ones and paint to match?
Initially, rattle can spray paint the original chrome bezels, without scuffing.
Then when or if you want to make it permanent, simply wipe the paint with lacker thinner and it comes off.
Then scuff, then apply permanent color of your liking. :)

I’d probably use plastidip the first time. In fact it might stay put better than regular spray paint on the chrome for a semi-permanent solution. It’s real easy to touch up as well.

Yeah but I am sure they do not make impact orange plastidip? I still want to do this..going to have to look into my options

In your case, you could use it as a primer. Then you could still save your bezels if you want to go back to stock at some point.

I still don't get why Jeep decided to chrome the headlight bezels? I mean, there isn't a single other item on my Jeep that has chrome plating on it, so it just seems off! Other than durability, I can't think of a reason.

I’ll probably dip mine soon. I have the plastidip in flat black already and was thinking about also doing the whole front grille to save it from rock chips, as well as to try a new look. I’ll post up some pics after I get around to it. I would like to get some sort of black wire mesh to install right behind the ||||||| to hide the older unattractive radiator fins, but not yet sure what I am going to use. I want it to be something aluminum, painted black, something that won’t bock airflow, and not just some plastic inserts.

P.S. If the black on silver contrast doesn’t do it for me, my next try will be in silver plastidip, thanks to the OP ;).
