Hi guys, this morning i applied primer to my fenders, 2 coats (i spend last weekend sanding and prepping).
My question is, once they dry, do i need to sand them before i apply color?

based on my limited painting experience, I would say no. if yuo sand them again, may remove the primer you just added. I would think they are scuffed enough from you sanding them and the primer will hold well to it and primer made to accept paint so I think you are good to go for the final paint but curious what others would say myself..

For fenders I would consider a light wet sand with 600 or lighter grit after the primer has thoroughly dried just to knock down any imperfections.

Yes, wet sand with a high grit to knock down the rough texture from spraying. Just a light sanding though, don't over do it. Then rinse and let dry. After that, apply paint. I would 3 coats of paint, lightly wet sand in between each coat.

Did you use a sandable primer? If you want a great paint job shoot a guide coat over the primer and take out the imperfections. You may need to shoot another coat of primer if you over do the sanding I would not use anything courser than 1000 grit at the point you are.
