Thought I’d share my experience with my under-the-seat subwoofer/amp from Rockville . As someone who used to have 2x12” subs (my highschool days) I can appreciate good bass and when I got my TJ I knew it lacked sound especially on the highway with the top down . I knew I wanted a sub set up for my Tj but I wanted it hidden and out of sight for both theft and space reasons . I found this setup over a year ago and it’s been installed ever since and it’s perfect , I can’t recommend it enough . Yes it’s cheap , yes it’s small but it works for what I needed. It’s held up to being tossed around and mildly wet with no issues . It won’t shake the neighborhood but it adds exactly what’s missing from your speakers , as well as allowing you to lower your bass tones on your speakers so you can crank them up high and get clear sound and let the sub handle the rest . Just thought I’d share if anyone is looking for a cheap effective sub setup , the best part is it’s all enclosed the sub and amp and fits perfectly under the Tj backseat completely out of sight and takes up no precious cargo space .
