Pinion Depth and Gear Pattern

Looking for advise on pinion depth based of gear pattern. I think I need to shim but wanted to check first. Any insite is appreciated.

Update added another .005 to pinion depth. Drive looks nice an centered. Coast is a little towards toe. I think I'm ok with this. Whatcha think?

Remember that you are looking for center from root to crown and not heal to toe. You are right at being too deep now so I would pull .002 and get the backlash above .007 and I think you are golden.
