Locked my damn keys in my truck. Luckily it's a 2004 so should be able to crack it with a hanger. Still annoying.

Use the number pad to let yourself in. Ha kidding.

I thought maybe open up the app on his phoooonne...
I have the key pad on mu F-250 and have never used it. I do have the code stored on my iPhoooonne just in case.
I'd say that "track record" went right out the door at 9 hour of use. Welcome to your new "Deere" reality matrix!
I love having local small town brand representation...Just got off the phone with the Deere dealer.
I have 2 choices- bring it in and wait a week to 10 days for them to get around to looking at it, or BUY and install the part myself.
What a bunch of bullshit!
I'm usually pretty easy going and laid back, but their complete lack of give a fuck has got me pissed.

I ran into a warranty issue for a temp sensor on my Wildcat trail, and it was a common well known issue. The warranty repair was, remove and replace the sensor.
After talking to my local dealer, he said I could bring it down (an hour away) and drop it off for the day, or he could send me a new sensor for free. In that same breath he said, but let me tell you what the real problem is and how to fix it. So he explained how to spread the connectors inside the harness side plug and that the sealing rubber needed to be sealed with dielectric grease to keep dust and moisture out of the plug to keep it from happening again. S I cleaned the sensor connections and spread the harness connectors a little and never had a problem again.
There are few stand up dealer guys left , good on him !
Yeah and Corporate entities are fucking them over every chance they get.
Textron, after buying out the dirt side of Arctic Cat decided if you weren't a multi-million dollar company like Cabela's or you are in a place that doesn't see nearly enough volume, you can't be a dealer any more.
Now you have to maintain a minimum of $200,000 to $400,000 of inventory on hand at all times. They have a 90 to 180 day window to sell each unit from the day they get it, or they have to pay for it in full, or they lose the ability to remain an Arctic Cat retailer. Unless you're Cabela's they have a completely different set of rules and can even undercut Arctic Cats prices for identical machines with different badging...
I've seen that happen with Honda generator dealer , Honda wanted a local dealer to sell $ 250,000 a year in portable generators . The dealer is primarily a rental store , but unlike a big box store they have parts and a service dept. with a clue . Selling $ 175,000 a year with return customers wasn't good enough for Honda .
Thinking back, I recall hearing the only reason Textron even wanted Arctic Cat dirt division in the first place was to try to compete with Polaris for their military contracts. When they didn't succeed Textron sold what they had bought back to a group of Execs that had been running Arctic Cat before the purchase...

It didn’t help that Textron lost an almost $50 million lawsuit to Robby Gordon a handful of years ago.
I’ve done work in Textron’s facilities on the aviation side, it’s an interesting business.
Well that and their decision to rename the brand backfired horrendously.. That lost them a LOT of customer loyalty too..
I hadnt heard they renamed it.
What did they rename it TO?
