@fishfullthinking try a pcm from @Wranglerfix, I can't recall what issues I was having when I originally replaced it about two years ago, it may have also been o2 sensors (my 05 has been fighting sensor issues for the last four years), but the 200-300$ "refurbished" pcms you'll see online did not fix my codes. However, back to the 0133 and 0153. I did have a cracked exhaust manifold causing slight exhaust leak, and my manifold gasket seemed a little worn, so i replaced that and finally threw in the new ngk/ntk sensor and the code is gone. Like I said, Mark's pcms are amazing and have had no issues over last two years, and he's responded immediately to all emails/calls and even sent me a pcm to help troubleshoot another issue. They are a bit pricey, but extremely worth it. Again, I wish I could remember if it was the pcm that solved my o2 sensors, but it may have been something else, nonetheless. my mechanic couldn't figure out my issue and marks pcm solved it. Worth a shot, especially if you've tried multiple ngk sensors and can't hear an exhaust leak. just my 2 cents

My next step is to pressurize the system and try to find a leak. Looks like really poor access to exhaust manifold. For now have been just clearing the code every time it pops up LOL

You're in Florida...check for exhaust leaks red neck style...drive it into the water and check for bubbles. I'll bet you have a snorkel and mask!

Unfortunately I have to be emissions compliant in my state, so i cant just clear it lol. If you can, take out the exhaust from the mini cats back. sometimes the bolts will be pretty seized at the muffler/minicats (I had to cut mine out), but the ease of taking off intake and exhaust manifold when my exhaust was out was night and day. The minicats are right in the way and it makes it a job of multiple extensions and wobble sockets etc. Personally, if your bolts aren't too bad, take out/off the exhaust and it will make your life much much easier. The second time around doing the exhaust manifold with the exhaust out (disregarding the time it took me since my bolts were all seized and had to be cut off), it took me about an hour to take apart everything and two hours to put it back and torque it to spec. good luck and keep updated, there's a forum on here for tips on doing the exhaust manifold but there is a bolt pattern and torque specs. old manifolds are fairly cheap just have to make sure no cracks etc. Personally, I could just hear the exhaust leak, but I also tried the have a friend hold a rag over the exhaust/tailpipe trick and that really confirmed it.

Guys, Thanks for suggestions. I was going to use shop vac to pressurize the system. I like the suggestion of holding rag over exhaust. I don't have a snorkel so cant do the red neck approach.

Thanks guys for the suggestions and great information in here. I ordered a new PCM from @Wranglerfix and it arrived and I swapped it out. Turned the key, started right up and no CEL light. Have been driving around and all is good, yayyyyyy!!!! As an added bonus also seems to be running smoother. I was able to go get it inspected the next day and all is good.

Guys,

Found the root cause of the issue. Had a leak where cats attach to exhaust manifold. Taped a tennis ball to exhaust pipe to create back pressure and then sprayed soapy water while jeep was running.

What did you do to fix the leak? Did you just need to tighten it or did you need to replace the whole cat?
