Do they fit in the dash of our TJs with no modifications? 2000 TJ with stock radio....no amp.

They have adaptor brackets u can get with them. Ya they work without a amp. They seem to be the most recommended speaker on this forum.

I just purchased it with this receiver too that was on sale. I like the Sony because it has a class d amp built in. 45 watts rms right off the deck is a pretty sweet feature. Most other decks can’t even hit 20 rms

It seems like the price of the Alpine Powerpack amp I was looking at last year had a big jump too

Due to the pandemic a lot of gear is not available like it used to be. You just have to open up your options and you can find good deals. I for one would recommend staying far away from the Polk DB series speakers as they play loud with no depth. The Kicker C and D series speakers are a couple bucks less and play better. Then you can look at BLAM and Match who is in the same price range.
