I've been extremely please twice on purchases with S-tech & S-tech products (Team Tech Offroad) & owner, Scott Bove.
First experience: I purchased a new, in open box, 4-switch system for a JK from a local craigslist sale. This was my first experience wiring an "S-pod" type device. Long story short, I wanted to change from the red plain rocker covers to labeled green so an online order was placed for 4 new switch covers and they arrived in a week. Unbeknownst to me was the previous owner swapped the actual switches for 3 terminal and the carling covers ordered wouldn't fit. I should have done my homework and researched pictures/installs a bit better. An email with pictures & a phone conversation with Scott quickly solved the determining issue. He shipped 4 switches to me, at no charge!
Second Experience: Knowing the overhead switch systems is flooded with JK installs, there was limited info besides the S-pod system ($$$) and R.C. (thumbs-down) for the TJ. I wanted a 5-terminal carling switch where the parking lamps illuminated the lower bar of the switches, and I won't bore you with wiring schematics for lockers, ARB compressor & a winch. So, I ordered their plain-Jane red 6-switch system for my TJR. The windshield trim must be cut for rocker & wiring clearance for 03-06 TJ's (I think 97-02, you're S.O.L.). Upon re-installing the trim with the switch housing, wiring, etc. , there was a significant amount of force required to snap the trim back into the windshield frame as the wiring came in contact with the frame. I had to bend the ground & hot (+) wiring down with careful wire management. The pictures attached show how the wiring at the back of the terminals had to be bent. Even depicted, a decent amount of force is required to snap the trim in place. Even though GXL wiring is used, I'm concerned with wire abrasion and how fragile the pin terminals are on the rear of the switches. Another call to Scott and some discussion, he's sending me a new 3-D printed housing, 1/2" deeper and new switches, with labeled covers, at no charge again! I'll follow up later with a final install.
