It's hard to find offset rims that are more than 3.75" of backspacing. Anyone have the Pro Comp 69's with 31" tires? Any pics? I'm worried they might stick out too much. I would like a wider stance, but wonder if the 3.75" BS will actually stick out 2" more than stock (just making sure)...That just seems like a lot.

3.75" is the most common BS for aftermarket wheels. It can help when you go with larger tires, though not needed for 31" and no lift. It would kick up more dirt/mud/water onto the side of the Jeep.
Not Pro Comps, but the 3.75 BS with 31s you're looking for examples of.
Same 3.75 BS rims, but with 33x10.5s, so taller tires but same width as the 31s and slightly better head on view.

I have 15x8 Procomp 69's with 3.75 BS and 31x10.50-15's.
The first pick is when I had the standard sized khaki flares with them. The second pic is with the slightly wider Rubicon flares (same size as Sahara flares).

I love the look! Do you have a lift on it at all? I have 15” pro comps and want to do a 31” tire but keep stock height. Also what tire brand and model did you do on the tan jeep? Thanks!

Thank you. Yes, I have a 2-1/2 inch lift. I ran it a few month without the lift on the ProComps and 31’s. With the backspacing of the wheels (3.75” if I remember correctly) the tires would rub on the flares occasionally. They are BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2’s.
Edited to say I ran it without the lift a few months and they rubbed the flares.

15x8 & 31's?
I am downsizing from 15x10 to 15x8 with 33's. The 15x10 stuck out way too much.. I switched to Bushwacker flat flares and they still stick out beyond the flare. The unknown for me now is whether the 15x8 with 33x12.5 will be tucked under the Bushwackers. That's not a look I want and would then have to go back to stock flares...
The 15x8's will pull the outside of the tire in between 1-2".so about an inch further out than mountaineer Tom's pic. You can find rubi flare widths online and measure yours to have a good idea where you'll end up

If you ask Jerry B, yes.. losing the Bushwacker flares would be a plus. I take it you don't like them either.
I am expecting to have about 2" less tire exposed. That would leave me about 1-2" still exposed. I'd be fine with that. Good news is I have options. Gotta get them mounted up. Anything less is spitballing it.
Measured a wheel (no tire) on the spare tire mount. I was able to make a few marks on a piece of tape applied under the over-tire cargo basket. You are correct.. looks like I am going to lose about 1.5" relative to the lip of the flare.
