I currently have a 2” lift, sitting on 32.5” tires. My goal is to drop that to 1” with 31”.
Why? The jeep will be turned over to my teenaged daughter for 99.9% daily driving. She is short so needs a shorter vehicle, and I want to minimize death wobble risk.

So….what steps do I need to do to make this change? I currently have adjustible CA’s. Can I keep them and just swap out springs? Or do I need to start clean with a new kit? Anything else to consider?

Well , first you might need to see if she’s going to grow any 😂😂😂

This guy was sitting with his short wife and this real long legged woman came by and he was making comments- She said if you like women like that why did you marry me? He said “I thought you would grow”

Now seriously-

You should be able to lower the jeep without any drama , the adjustable control arms are only going to help you- But realistically you’ll get more caster in the process which makes it track better , even if all you do is lower it, because that rolls the axle back.

Death wobble is usually not a result of lift height but usually ends up being attributed to poorly balanced tires and worn steering linkage /control arm components- And it can be triggered by other things as well-even a low tire.

Generally speaking there has been a trend toward setting Jeeps up lower on this forum for the last three years- less drama, less cost , and you don’t have to do as much to retain the good factory driving characteristics they were designed to have.

For best reliability and safety and everything else you might be best to just replace everything with stock. Not worth the headaches for only 1" lift.

My brain hurts from reading this thread.
I think I am now dumberer than I was before reading this…..
