You're going to need to drop the skid plate for that. While it's off you should probably go ahead and replace it. And since you're replacing that skid plate you may as well get a low profile one. Which means you're going to need a full tummy tuck. So then you're going to have to order a body and motor lift...

Im just another 42RLE owner checking into say I'm jealous of the Rubicrawler!! I think it's going to be bumped up on my list, though the auto really does allow you to crawl quite well with just the 2.72 standard Low. I'd like the rubi for the descent control.

Dude i love the jumping all in with super high quality stuff. I think you're doing it well taking small bites with modifications that will seriously improve the wheelability and you're not making the do it wrong the first time approach.

Got the new genright extended range (24.5 gal) tank today. Shiny.

Got the new Genright extended range (24.5 gallon) tank, aluminum tank skid, and fuel pump access panel installed in the tub and test fit the JCR mauler stubby. You can also see the new Currie heavy duty tie rod peaking out from under the bumper.

It's getting worse. I'm nowhere close to being done with the LJ, yet I spent an hour looking at Scramblers today. I even spent a few minutes thinking about how I could get one without my wife knowing.

Got the M.O.R.E Bomb Proof 1" lift motor mounts installed to compliment the JKS 1.25" body lift.

Depending on which chart you look at, I had to choose from anywhere between 3.90 and 5.38. I went with 4.88 as a compromise between higher power on the rocks and lower rpm's at highway speed.

Shop got the rear brake lines in. There's something very satisfying about new brake lines.

We installed safe t caps on the frame rails. They were really bad.
