Pulling the front springs out any value in changing them?

Took the TJ to a local shop back in April to have the Rancho’s installed. They are a corner shop that has always maintained all of my cars. Not a Jeep specialty shop. I had a set of Daystar 3/4” spacers to install to level out the front rake.

They got everything done. When I picked it up they handed me back the old spacers. Gotta admit, I didn’t realize anything was amiss until last week. It was then that I realized there were no isolators. So I never ironed out the rake and now have a set of 3/4 leveling spacers and no isolators.

I want to bring the TJ back to have the isolators installed in addition to the spacer. Here’s the question…. The springs are RC 2.5” lift installed by the PO. I’ve already removed the RC shocks. Since I am in there, is there any value in replacing the springs with something better? I have zero complaints about ride quality but worry that the RC springs will eventually sag and I’ll be in there pulling springs again at some point.

I have everything sorted for the light lift and the Jeep drives great. Is this a case of “if it ain’t broke.. don’t fuck with it”? Or, “if it ain’t broke.. make it better”?

I have the adjustable front track bar, extended sway bar links front and rear, rear track bar relocation bracket, all bushings were replaced and I installed a transfer case drop kit. It drives great. I don’t need more lift but I do have some mental baggage with the RC springs…

If the lift height is where you want it and you have no complaints on the ride quality, I'd leave the RC springs in there.

The only thing changing springs will do is change the ride height. Do that, and you will have to reassess the spacers.
