That's the relay. Either replace it with the EP26 or the LM470 depending upon your model year
Question about LED turn signal lights

Did you find out how this issue can be solved?
I have an EP26 flasher installed and turn signals blink as they should, but the turn- signal indicators are bright solid in my dash anytime my lights are switched on.
I’m considering trying additional resistors but I don’t know if it will fix the problem .
I am no expert in this matter, but I have read that TJ's have a "floating" ground and that in order to prevent all those strange lighting behaviors when adding LEDs, mainly to the front, this diode/resistor set up is necessary. I have yet to try it however, I thought it was worth mentioning it.

What year Jeep wrangler did you use the EP26 LED flasher ? Will this work in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ ? The flasher relay is located under the dash, not on the steering column.

What is the condition of your multifunction switch? I had similar problems- I went to charge a light bulb, & that ended up triggering something to where my turn signals weren't functioning properly & my break lights weren't working. Turned out my multifunction switch went bad, along with the melting of the same wiring harness. I love my TJ. We've been through it all it feels like. I'm doing research on this flasher relay.

I just installed the front blinker and taillight LED bulbs as well as the EP26 relay in my 98 and when I turn the hazards on it hyperflashes and if I use either blinker the relay buzzes, I'm completely lost because I haven't found anyone else with this issue and can't imagine what would cause it
Are you running diodes for the front turn signals? @machoheadgames likely remembers the details of this job better than I do, but we've both been fine for almost three years. I run LEDs in the back and for my front running lights / turn signals.
Edit: I also ran an inline resistor so that my running lights on each fender flare would match the brightness of the running lights on each fender.

I didn't do any extra wiring, I just replaced the factory bulbs in the blinker and taillights, I left the factory bulbs in the side markers so they shouldn't be an issue
I’d poke around and see if there’s a different flasher that works for you. It took me two different flashers to work for my 2005.
Yeah, that doesn’t work. It’s misleading, but the LEDs being in the front sockets screws things up. The side markers depend on the front bulbs being true incandescent bulbs to work properly. The side marker bulbs get their ground through the front bulbs. If the front bulbs are LEDs, that no longer works properly.
I can’t explain the relay buzzing specifically nor the hyperflash but I know for sure that things get chocked up bad when LEDs are in the front positions. Side markers can be LED just fine as long as they are non polar, but it’s better to do the diode/resistor mod.

Prev owner had done LED tail lights and it has the hyper flash.
Is there a consensus?
Is it better to try the LM470 relay and keep LED - or - do I just go back to incandescent lamps?
Are the GDC ones on Quadratec better than the Novita?

I’m fully LED on the turn signals and wouldn’t want to go back. I have a LM470 in my 2005.
