Hey guys. I’m planning to replace the floor pans on my 99 and I noticed this bracket on the passenger side. I didn’t see it in the service book or on the replacement parts. Is anyone aware of what it’s for? Thanks.

It's for the car jack.

I prefer to call it the Jeep Jack. It's one of the best jacks in the world. That might not seem true until someone has to use it in the middle of nowhere which helps them realize it can come in handy just about anywhere else too.

Luckily my TJ still had one when I bought it or I'd have probably just bought whatever looked like it would do the job. Now I'm wondering where or how I would have stored it.
