Question about springs

Does anyone know if the springs off a 2000 Sport will fit a 98 Sahara, both are 6 cyl? I’ve tried to compare on different parts websites and I keep getting different part numbers. I’ve called 2 Jeep dealers and they want the VIN from both vehicles and I cannot give them but one

I’ve got the part number off of the spring on the 2000, it’s 52088129AB. My dealer says the part number for my 98 is 52088128AB. One digit different but he can’t tell me what the difference is between them. Would the ride be different between the Sahara and Sport? Softer or firmer?

All TJ/LJ coils fit all other TJ/LJs. There were slight difference in rates between different packages that might effect the ride heights.

I don't know what 2 jeeps are being compared (as far as equipment) but fairly sure a spring for a hardtop jeep is different than for a soft top jeep, but just in spring rate I'd guess. Same for any other equipment that would change the weight (ie 4 cyl vs 6, TJ versus LJ). The fit would be the same, and you may not be able to tell the difference in ride, but the part number could vary.
