New member, first post, please be gentle. While crawling around learning about my Jeep this morning I found the drivers side sway bar bolt grinding into the frame. Reading here taught me about sway bar locks but also maybe my differential was not centered. I took a look and sure enough I have more tire past the fender on the passenger side.
I have an adjustable bar that I believe has the relocated mount on the frame.
I think I just need to drop the bar, pull the Jeep over, and adjust to length.
Is that it?
Will any thing else be changed or need to change?
Thank you for any and all advice.

David

Pretty neat trick. Grab a two magnets. A thin string. A washer or something you can tie the sting to. Stick the magnet with the string and dangle the washer/thingy tied to the string above the tire. Move the adjustable sway bar till the tires hang out equally on both sides. Then see if your axle is positioned correct.
Welcome to the forum. Lottsa knowledge and a lot of fun smartasses on here. 🥇

Before adjusting the tracbar; I would suggest placing a piece of tape on the steering wheel to identify where the steering wheel is centered.
Once you have adjusted the tracbar to center the differential under the Jeep; you will need to adjust the steering drag link to center the steering wheel.
Loosen the bolts on the drag link adjustment collar and turn while observing the tape on the steering wheel so you can easily identify which direction to turn the collar.
