Questions about buying land

I’ll talk to some of the neighbors in the area. I am guessing it would be a hell of a deep well. The good news is that there are people out there and everyone is separated by a few acres or so. I have seen power lines as well, so while it’s in the country it’s clearly not so far out that there is nothing.

The other thing is to check any county regs on if you "HAVE" to be hooked up to utilities. I've read some stories about people who were getting fined or forced to move because the town or county they lived in required they have utilities hooked up and used.
Yup. Let's just say there are a lot of off grid houses that are too large for the permit. Of course that's assuming a permit was issued.

At minimum the seller should make you aware of any Deeded Rights such as maybe a neighbor has access to a well or a road on your property or vise versa.

If your in the area of the property talk to any local or neighbors and get the lowdown if possible, pretty much what we did before moving here to OR and I think it paid off.
