Radiator gurgling after shutting off

No, when I replaced my original I noticed it had a white plastic pipe inside from the filler neck down a ways past the overflow tube inlet but it was broken.
 
I recently bought a 2006 LJ. It does not run hot but when I shut it off it starts gurgling into the overflow tank. I have done the following, I pressure tested the radiator cap to 18 pounds and it is good (new cap). Tested the coolant for exhaust gas and it stayed blue. Pressure tested the radiator and no leaks. Used the radiator burp funnel kit with the jeep front elevated, I did this more than a half dozen times. No oil in coolant or coolant in oil. I pulled the spark plugs and they all look good and the same. Put in a new thermostat. That fan seems to engage well when hot. The jeep does not overheat while running, the temperature gauge is straight up. Is there something that I have not done yet. I have searched many forums and cannot find anything new. I appreciate your help.

What is the age/condition of your coolant?
 
I am curious, if my fan clutch was bad, wouldn't it run hot? I was told that it was air in the system but I have burped it with the front elevated on ramps and using the burp funnel kit.

Not necessarily, depends on a lot of factors, including how fast you're going, how hot it is, etc. But I can only relate my experience - I had pretty much replaced everything else in the cooling system when it started doing this, so I checked the fan clutch and it didn't seem to be particularly good, so I replaced it. Never had the problem again...

Thanks, I just got a fan clutch from auto zone, made in the US.
 
FWIW a fan clutch can be tested, there is the folded paper method but I prefer a hand held tachometer. If the tach shows it spinning at the same RPM as the engine it doesn't get any faster than that.
