Hey, all. So this is my first posting here and I'm trying sorta out a radiator placement (developing a crack in the top on mine near the upper hose inlet). I've got a 2002 4L with a 5-speed manual transmission. Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but everywhere I look all I can seem to find is the radiators with the transmission cooling line ports (generally on the bottom rear of the radiator assembly).
Is this just a matter of capping those ports? I assume those transmission lines would be isolated internally from the water line through the core and thus wouldn't affect the other functions of the system? Or is that not an accurate assumption?
Anyone have a good source for parts? I've tried the usual suspects (Mopar, ExtremeTerrain, 4wheelparts, Jeps) and I keep finding the wrong radiators. Is there a key to getting past the automatic variants that I'm missing?
