Radio issues

I recently put in a new aftermarket radio. Sometimes it works great. But most of the time it will work for a second. Then cut the sound. The music is still playing in my phone, the radio is still lit up and working as should, and I turn the radio off and on again it does the same thing again (plays music for a second then shuts off volume) any suggestions?

Bluetooth does that sometimes. Different versions of BT on the radio vs your phone. Pausing the music for 10-15 seconds will built up the buffer. Updating the firmware on the radio might help. See if a 3.5mm aux cable works better or FM.

Maybe you have the speaker polarity reversed. Make sure they’re all hooked up correctly and the same polarization as in + and - hooked up correctly on all speakers tied to the head unit
