Rampage 1-piece 3D mesh grille insert install

FYI...Grill inserts can and do raise coolant and under hood temperatures 20 degrees so if you are in a hot summer day with the ac on can have over temp issues.
Rubbish! I just drove around all day in 107 degree heat hard top on a/c on at moments with "Zero" temperature change, I would suggest that those having grill insert temp increases have coolant system problems already! So just an ask those big fuck off light bars/spot lights and huge winches sticking out front don't affect air flow in that virgin 7 slot open grill like inserts do? lol Dreaming Darrel :)

Agreed. Not sure I would have paid $200 bucks for it but for the deal I got it was hard to pass up. The oneI got is gloss black with polished highlights so should look ok. But again I also want to keep all the leaves and pine straw out. When it rains here in my area of Atlanta this time of year you will literally get brown juice on on your vehicle from all the leaves and when it is dry they all swirl around and are sucked right in to the grille.
It's the damned "pin oaks". I have so many trees at my house that overnight, there will be a pile of leaves knee deep.

And that brown tree snot is exactly as you describe. Coats everything.

Then you have the pecan trees that not only assault you while you're working, they make your hood look like it went through an Oklahoma hail storm.

The Pin Oaks are the worst. They get in every gap, nook, and cranny. The pine straw is bad too but at least it doesn’t blow around as easily

I've seen dirt bike forums they just wear out chain maintenance products
... And some guy uses WD-40 and gets about the same amount of chain life.
and some other guy (me) doesn't lube the chin at all... I still get 20-30,000 miles out of one, depending on the bike.

I think we should have a special category of forums for this.. and gas octane... Actual tire size...and any other debates that are a pure waste of time.
What's the best oil for our TJ's . . . . ?
My ex-brother in law's adopted sisters boyfriends best friend . . . . who works part time at Walmart swears that synthetic 5W-90 made in China from fermented Panda tallow is the very best oil for the TJ's.

I too use only artisanal motor oils from an Etsy seller that sources his panda tallow from a fair-trade certified tallow dealer. I like that it comes in old-timey metal cans.

Little thread drift . . . . anyone remember National Lampoon's T-shirt sale with the logo 'Nuke The Whales'' . . . pic of a whale with a mushroom cloud rising from it's back ? 🐋
Don't remember that, but I remember seeing "The statement that pisses EVERYBODY off: 'Nuke the gay, pregnant, Jewish wales!'".

That shirt l believe was based on the real genius idea of getting rid of a dead whale. They used explosives to blow it up, with bad results.

It is a commonly known fact that oil from the

Exactly.

This insert is a POS. After 2. Hours getting it behind the grille it didn’t line up with the openings. And they sent the wrong brackets.
