Any chance that you could do one of those snap on bug screens like the CJ’s used to have and then pull and hose it off once in a while? Or is it not the look you are willing to have?

Not really the look I want nut thanks for the thought. Thinking about pulling the grille and working something out myself. Not sure what that is going to look like yet. The concept of their grille is good. I don’t know maybe I got a bad one. But if they let that one go I am not doing another one.

I personally like the inserts better myself because they look like they're supposed to be there.

It's the damned "pin oaks". I have so many trees at my house that overnight, there will be a pile of leaves knee deep.

And that brown tree snot is exactly as you describe. Coats everything.

Then you have the pecan trees that not only assault you while you're working, they make your hood look like it went through an Oklahoma hail storm.

What about the poplar tree sap that gloms onto your paint worse than bird shit
