Thank your Federal Government , They dreamed up the "footprint" of a model would determine mileage/emissions std. The larger the truck the less stringent the standard. The manufactures responded.
A good friend who lives in South Africa sent me these the other day. I'm pretty sure I'm going to make travel plans soon.
Many of my close friends are from SA. It is beautiful from what I've seen. But, none of them live there any more - for good reason.
