My family would very very much want to see a launch. How would you recommend going about it? Especially considering weather cancellations and what not. Also having to travel from the East coast.
Launches are becoming more predictable so chances of last minute delays are minimal. In the off chance it does get rescheduled I could try to arrange a tour of Starbase.

Also, that is a very generous offer! My grandfather worked at NASA starting in the 50's and retired in the 90's. He took me for a few hours and I remember being in awe, especially the giant vacuum chamber. My youngest is bound and determined to be a rocket scientist lol.

It is typically announced about a month from launch day. The best source of information is from SpaceX's X account.
