I have two 4" LED lights mounted on top of the tail lights, and wired directly into the stock reverse lights. What I want to do is have them switched, so I don't blind old ladies at the mall, LOL.

I know I could just look, but I'm at work, and am planning this out in my head. I'm guessing that the wire loom that goes through the tub by the tail light on the drivers side has the wires in it for the drivers side, but how is the passenger side run, as I don't recall seeing a loom running the same way on that side? I just want to be able to follow the factory wiring for a clean install.

My plan is to do either a switched ground, or maybe using a relay, and a SPDT toggle switch so I can turn them on myself if wanted.

I would do the switched ground. Mine are switched for the same reason you want to- not to blind people unintentionally. But they're also switched for blinders while driving to get tailgaters to stop. They are in the stock bumper on mine- Only reason I still have the stock bumper still.
