Rebuilding control arms

I bought my 97 sport in '18. It used to be nice & stable, no steering wander or dartiness. That's changed this past summer into fall into winter. The PO made his own control arms. He said he used Rubicon Express ends and bushings. Does anyone know if these are still available for rebuilding, or if I'd be better off starting from scratch? I don't have pics because we're still butthole deep in snow and frozen balls

I'd like to look into rebuilding if I can, as it was so spot on, but obviously, I understand upgrading/replacing could be in the cards

Reminds me of the month I spent ripping apart my front end trying to find a really bad wobbling noise.

Ended up being a bad centering ball on the rear...yes...rear driveshaft.

It seemed reasonable the missing three teeth on the front ring gear were causal...and needed replacement...but it wasn't the source of the noise.

replying here as I need to rebuild control arms as well... and I'm in trouble.

Currie shortarm was my 1st choice, but apparently it is not simple to get them from the US here in italy, even paying crazy prices and even asking them directly...
I've been proposed metalcloack by a well known and competent importer, but can't really understand if they are good marketers of if they sell a very innovative an reliable product.
do you have any advice on this? my very first priority is reliability, with of course improved articulation.

PS: currie prices goes very, very close to longarm kits by teraflex: is the quality and reliability the same or should I stick to my previous study and get Currie at any cost?

Only times I’ve shipped overseas is to a military address so it was simple. Have you tried other sellers of the products you want? We have many online retailers that sell RockJock. Im wondering if Summit or Quadratec will ship to you??

I've checked, but main problem is Rockjock does not have a working ecomm cart, so you cannot pay by card.
on the other hand, Summit and Quadratec have no stock. also tried southwest speed.
main problem is as well shipping time, as in may I'll be overlanding with the jeep and international shipping and douane takes an eternity.
my importer might get the rockjock brand, but takes an eternity and it's very pricey that’s why I’m tempted by MC.

I am running MC single adjustable arms and have been for about a year. I am not trying to push the jeep on very hard trails anymore and thought they would offer slightly better nvh characteristics for my use case. So far, no issues and I have been pleased with them. I am aware the dual durmeter bushings can become a problem if twisted up to their limits developing tears in the rubber part of the dual durometer bushing.

I would recommend if you do order a set from them to get a spare set of bushings to store in a cool dry place in case it becomes difficult to secure them in the future.

I know of one guy with a MC longarm and he’s happy. Otherwise only what I’ve read on this forum and I’m not sure MC is loved around here.

did manage to order Currie...or at least hope so!
