Hey everyone, I'm currently getting a P0513 error code in my 2006 TJ. If I was to remover the immobilizer myself, what issues would I end up with?

Removing Factory Immobilizer

Removing the SKIM (factory immobilizer) would be the opposite of this write-up:

But why remove it? It would be easier to just get a new key fob and call it good.
Ask @Jerry Bransford if he wishes he had the SKIM system when his TJ got stolen. I believe I remember him saying something about the purpose it served.

So I just wanted give an update with the error code i was getting.
When I bought my TJ I had a second key programmed.
Anyways, factory key was giving me the issue so I started using the second key I had programmed almost a month and the code is gone now. Not sure why the factory stopped working with the immobilizer but the 2nd key is working.
