Replacement Clutch / Flywheel Recommendations

Do you have a link to the flywheel you choose.?

I went with the Centerforce 700479 High Inertia Flywheel.

Hi everyone.
I’m replacing the flywheel on my ‘02 TJ with a new Luk product and suddenly had a sinking feeling...was I supposed to make a mark with respect to the crankshaft position sensor for reinstall? I have found nothing in the FSM that addresses this.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Nope. Might make it a few seconds faster, but it is not necessary. The flywheel holes are not equidistant from one another, and the flywheel will only bolt on in one orientation. Put the flywheel on the crank and put a bolt in a couple threads. (You have a 5 out of 6 chance of being wrong the first time.) If the other bolts don’t line up, rotate 60 degrees and try again. The whole process takes 5 minutes or less.

It’s designed like that to be (almost) idiot-proof.

If you have your last flywheel, there is a circle hole on the area it mounts, it will leave a mark on the back of the flywheel. Mark your new one in same orientation, and then you don’t have to take multiple tries at it, if you’re not on a lift, it can be awkward, this way you can do all the orienting on the workbench and just take it down and go right on.

Either way works though.
